KAHIR GÜNÜ (DIES IRAE)

Ozan Yarman (Sonbahar 2010)

1
Kahır günü! O gün,
Ki şahidi Nebi ve kahin kadın,
Dürülecek hesabı küllü yüzyılların!
1
Dies iræ! dies illa
Solvet sæclum in favilla:
Teste David cum Sibylla!
2
Yargıladığında Malik’i Din gününün
Her ameli önündeki gözünün,
Yıkılacak sanki kubbesi göğün!
2
Quantus tremor est futurus,
Quando iudex est venturus,
Cuncta stricte discussurus!
3
Çınlayan o ses, üflendiğinde Sur,
Çatlatacak taşlarını bütün kubur
Ve kaplayacak yeryüzünü yüce bir Nur!
3
Tuba, mirum spargens sonum
Per sepulchra regionum,
Coget omnes ante thronum.
4
O zaman, dili tutuk tüm alemin,
Faydası yok cana, ana, baba, sülalenin
Malik buyuracak: “Hepiniz huzuruma gelin!”
4
Mors stupebit, et natura,
Cum resurget creatura,
Iudicanti responsura.
5
O Kitap ki, ıskalanmamış tek bir şey,
Yazılmış içine olup biten pey-der-pey,
Sol eline verilenlerin hali vay ki vay!
5
Liber scriptus proferetur,
In quo totum continetur,
Unde mundus iudicetur.
6
Aziz ve Hakim Allah Arş’a kurulur,
Kaçmaya kalkan tez zincire vurulur,
Herkese yapıp ettiği bir bir sorulur.
6
Iudex ergo cum sedebit,
Quidquid latet, apparebit:
Nil inultum remanebit.
7
Zayıf düşürülmüş fasık, güçlü olana
Çatar, hani bağışlanma, onca yalana?
Mümin bile muhtac iken bir şefaat edene?
7
Quid sum miser tunc dicturus?
Quem patronum rogaturus,
Cum vix iustus sit securus?
8
Ey bağışlaması bol olan yüce Rab,
Yardımın olmasa halimiz harab…
Kurtuluşa erdir, bitsin bu ıstırab!
8
Rex tremendæ maiestatis,
Qui salvandos salvas gratis,
Salva me, fons pietatis.
9
Hatırla bizi Habib-Allah o sarsıcı gün.
Sırat el-Müstakim’e dayanmışız büsbütün,
Şefaat et! Allah katında geçer senin sözün!
9
Recordare, Iesu pie,
Quod sum causa tuæ viæ:
Ne me perdas illa die.
10
Her Resul mahşerde o gün ümmetini gözler;
Hak yolunda çektiler ne belalar, güçlükler…
Sırf onlara uyanlar kurtulabilecekler!
10
Quærens me, sedisti lassus:
Redemisti Crucem passus:
Tantus labor non sit cassus.
11
İntikam sahibi ulu Yaradan…
Umutluyuz şimdi bağışlamandan,
Kurtar bizi cehennem azabından!
11
Iuste iudex ultionis,
Donum fac remissionis
Ante diem rationis.
12
Ne çok günah yüklendim ömrüm boyunca…
Yüzüm kızarır tümünü ard arda koyunca!
İşte duam… karınca, olsa da, ağırlığınca!
12
Ingemisco, tamquam reus:
Culpa rubet vultus meus:
Supplicanti parce, Deus.
13
Sen ki tertemiz kıldın Meryem kulunu,
Affettin nice tövbekarı, şaşırsa bile yolunu,
Umudum var, bilmesem de sağımı solumu!
13
Qui Mariam absolvisti,
Et latronem exaudisti,
Mihi quoque spem dedisti.
14
Layık değil niyazım bağışlanmaya elbet,
Ama Sen Adilsin, göster bana da merhamet.
Değmesin, ne olur, üstüme o yakıcı lanet!
14
Preces meæ non sunt dignæ:
Sed tu bonus fac benigne,
Ne perenni cremer igne.
15
Eriştir kurtulanların yurdunda bir nimete,
Yoldan sapmışlardan uzak bir himmete,
“Selam” diyen güler yüzler içinde bir cennete!
15
Inter oves locum præsta,
Et ab hædis me sequestra,
Statuens in parte dextra.
16
Sevkedilmişken caniler boyunları halkalı ateşe,
Atılmaktayken kefere gayya kuyusuna peşpeşe,
Rahmetini arayan salihler için cennetler döşe!
16
Confutatis maledictis,
Flammis acribus addictis:
Voca me cum benedictis.
17
Ellerim açık, alnım secdede,
Her kebire bir sebeb-i müşeddide,
Yakarışlarım artık son raddede!
17
Oro supplex et acclinis,
Cor contritum quasi cinis:
Gere curam mei finis.
18
Gözlerin yuvalarından fırladığı o gün,
Külden kemikten herkesi dirilttiğin gün,
Yarlığa ey alemlerin Rabbi
Salih imanla katına gelenleri.
18
Lacrimosa dies illa,
Qua resurget ex favilla
Iudicandus homo reus.
Huic ergo parce, Deus:
19
Ey şerefli Enbiya,
Siz de şefaat edin onlara. Amin.
19
Pie Jesu Domine,
Dona eis requiem. Amen.

  1. CUMHURİYET’İN 100. YILI MARŞI ( “ŞANLI HİLÂL” )

    Kökeni Ergenekon,
    Bir özüyse Kral Sargon…
    Efsane Türk Budunu –
    Yıkmış Tabgaç putunu –
    Yontmuş Yazıtı Orhon…

    Yayıldıkça, aştıkça,
    Türlü düşman şaştıkça,
    Çağıldayan UYGARLIK,
    Kurmuş onlarca Hanlık,
    Sel olup da taştıkça…

    Selçuklu – Karahanlı,
    Vârisleri Osmanlı;
    Tarih uzun methedip,
    Harp oyunu vazedip,
    Destan yazmışlar şanlı!

    ENBİYÂ, İmam Ali,
    Raşidûn, bildik Velî!..
    DİN Hicaz’a mı salttı?
    Bünyesinde sağalttı
    Anadolu – Rumeli…

    KİTAB’tan yaprak yaprak,
    BİR ALLAH’a taparak,
    HİLÂL aşkı vuruşup,
    Şehidlik için coşup,
    VATAN kıldık şu toprak!..

    “Çiğneyip aştım, bendim,
    Makûs tâlihim, yendim!
    Mülküm bağışladıysam,
    Ruhum da adadıysam,
    Âdil HAKK’a güvendim!”

    Yıkımın eşiğinden,
    Türklüğün beşiğinden
    Çıkan ATAM, döndürdü;
    Şerr hırsları söndürdü
    Zâlimler döşeğinden!

    Ezan – Gazi bana kut.
    Ey Türkoğlu, sözün tut!
    Hür olarak yeşerdi;
    Bu ülkenin her ferdi,
    Türklük için bir umut!

    Yordam sapasağlam çat!
    Dış-güçler bazen başat;
    Kuşatmayı yarınca,
    Ailene varınca,
    Yavruna sarılınca –
    İncitme kuş, karınca –
    NUR kaplasın kat-be-kat!

    Can kardeşiz, yahut eş,
    Olma sakın ha kalleş!
    RAHMAN’dan lûtuf yurdun;
    Kanla irfanla kurdun…
    Milyonlarla bütünleş!

    Ay-Yıldızla sakındır,
    Teknik zafer yakındır!
    Duyuyor musun sesi?
    Enselerde nefesi;
    Ordun akın akındır!

    Cihanda, Türk Milleti,
    Koru her Emaneti!…
    Davamız Nâmus, Haklar;
    Görsün hain mihraklar,
    Türk eliyle zilleti!

    Sanadır canım feda;
    Ölümsüzdür şüheda!
    Görününce ufuktan,
    Parıldıyor şafaktan,
    BAYRAĞIMDAKİ eda!

    CUMHURİYET’tir elbet,
    Devlet-i Ebed Müddet…
    Mazlumların kederi,
    Hepimizin kaderi;
    Dimdik dur İLELEBET!

    Bu mukaddes vatanı bize armağan eden tüm şehidlerimize ve gazilerimize ithaf olunur…

    Dikkatinize saygılarımla sunarım,

  2. MARCH OF THE REPUBLIC’S CENTENNIAL ANNIVERSARY (GLORIOUS CRESCENT MOON)

    Her origin is Ergenekon,
    One more essence of her is King Sargon…
    The Legendary Turkish Peoples –
    having toppled the idol of Tuoba –
    Carved the Inscription of Orkhon…

    Spreading and overcoming,
    while various enemies turn stupefied,
    The CIVILIZATION that splashingly breaks upon rocks
    Established tens of Khanates
    as it overflowed whilst becoming a deluge…

    Seljuks to Karakhanids,
    whose successor was the Ottomans
    – that history praised at length,
    Wrote glorious Epic Sagas
    upon conceiving (many a) war strategy!

    The PROPHETS, Imam (Congregational Leader) Ali,
    and the Rashidun (Caliphs) we all came to know as Sages!
    Was RELIGION solely the providence of Hijaz?
    She (the Turkish Peoples) restored it in the bosom
    of Anatolia and Thrace.

    Worshipping the ONE GOD
    Leaf upon leaf by the (HOLY) BOOK,
    and battling for the love of the CRESCENT
    while becoming enraptured for Martyrdom,
    We established this soil as the FATHERLAND!..

    “I have surpassed my limit by trampling it,
    I have beaten my adverse fortune!
    If I dedicated my propery
    and devoted too my soul,
    (It is because) I trusted in the Just TRUTH.”

    My ELDER (ATATURK),
    who emerged from the cradle of Turkishness,
    Veered us away from the brink of devastation;
    Extinguishing evil ambitions
    from the foundation of wrongdoers!

    Adhan and Ghazi (Veteran ATATURK) are to me sacred.
    O ye son of Turk, keep your promise!
    Freely they blossomed;
    Every individual of this country
    is a hope for Turkishness!

    Establish the technique all oak and iron bound!
    Sometimes the foreign powers are dominant;
    After breaching the blockade,
    upon reaching your family,
    (and) Embracing your youngling –
    Do not abuse bird or ant –
    Let the (DIVINE) LIGHT then engulf (you) layer upon layer!

    We are brothers/sisters of heart, or spouses,
    Do not ever become perfidious!
    Your homeland is a blessing from the BOUNTEOUS-NOURISHER;
    You founded it with blood and wisdom…
    Become (now) integrated with the millions!

    Admonish with the Moon and Star,
    Technical victory is close at hand!
    Do you hear the sound?
    Its breath is on the necks;
    Wave upon wave your Army descends!

    O Turkish Nation,
    Protect every Entrustment in the world!..
    Our cause is Honor, Rights;
    May treacherous factions see
    Abasement by the hand of the Turk!

    My life to you I offer;
    Immortal are the martyrs!
    The countenance of my FLAG,
    when it appears over the horizon,
    Shines through the daybreak!

    Verily it is the REPUBLIC
    that is the State-Without-an-End…
    The grief of the downtrodden
    is divine allotment for every one of us;
    Stay upright (O Turkish Nation) FOREVERMORE!

  3. A MIDSUMMER DAY FANTASIA

    Yonce ’twas a high tide midsummer in norne;
    ‘Tis the season many beasties were borne.
    The azure swallankets aloft the expanse,
    Deepscure in rivers do splambol the bass.

    On such a norne day the Smoon did drawrithe
    To as high as quarticurving zenith;
    Wheddenly tremplitted to spheres sep(a)rate:
    First the Moon, next the Sun, disaggragate!

    With the Full Moon fleefting onwardly whence
    And the Sun, wayward, lethravelling thence,
    Dewdrops now from the frusk lingering, see
    Had ev’r since volatalized completely.

    Frolanced the woodland creatures awhattollows,
    Merged in stupeverie from meads and hollows,
    Bellowhinnying in swarms and warbleating,
    Frenzied, transmutating each to monstrous forms!

    Yonce ’twas midsummer in the eventide.
    ‘Twas the season beasties motionless lied
    Under the turquoise sky turned tangerine:
    Not a soul wistirred, was all calm, serene…

    By nightfall when the starlit heavens did glow,
    As good Shala clasps and furrowiths The Plough
    Across the ecliptic, romancing Adad
    Lo! Out of the shadows appeared a Maenad.

    Came more out into the open, possessed,
    Casting enchantments while they quaffervesced!
    Chinkles on their skirts jangled as they danced
    To music so arcane, strains rose, cadenced.

    Fervent rhythms behold fiercely pulsating!
    This wretched gyrite whenever be abating?
    Brooding clouds coalesced and heavens are concealed,
    Ghastly a flash those hags’ grimaces revealed!

    Espy; a thunderbolt struck an oak in yon grove.
    This to frantic rapture the strumpling Maenads drove.
    Gushed forth hence sizzling downpours o’er the lush prairie,
    Upon quiescent all ox, otter, foal and veery.

    Terribly, terribly shrieked the number!
    Arising sluggishly from deep slumber
    Soon as came in contact with the deluge –
    Absorbing the waters and growing huge!

    Uncloaked the sky, as every cloud retreated,
    Stars became once more in splendor unsheathed.
    By midnight, monstrosities roamed the meadows,
    Stromping hard and gnashing in six by eight rows.

    Coaxed the Maenads said ensemble yon hill,
    Screaming in voices so cryptic and shrill!
    Marched, the captivated, and flew slopeward,
    In deep a trance and flexhibiting thrill!

    Opened, starlit, a portal growing wide,
    Drowsy in went all the beasts side by side!
    Swallowed them whole the expanse of blackness;

    Whilst witches, feverish, scrambled to hide!

    Powerful a blast shook the Earth’s foundation!
    Jumped up each Maenad in exhiliration!
    Drawing dark magic thence inflamanating,
    Giant a Golem surfaced from this nation!

    Erupted more thunderbolts but from earth!
    Danced they like unbridled mystics in mirth!
    Commanded these Maenads the Golum forth,
    Proceeded all of them slowly to North!

    There lay a white castle housing a Mage;
    Nine hundred half score years was then his age!
    Some say wise is he on forgotten lore;
    Everyone knew that he was a great sage!

    Follower was the Mage, in Chaldea,
    Of Saint Ephrem of yore from Syria.
    Wanderer of Kingdoms long turned to dust,
    Settled in Babylonia he at last.

    Angry crones since held a deep-seated grudge
    Against him ‘cause he in Marshes took lodge!
    Teachings with Wilderness that conflicted,
    Preached he to commonfolk to make them nudge!

    Mad with fury did trod on the Titan,
    Reached his castle the Maenads to fight on!
    Magic and might unleashed on them the Mage,
    Brought he then a devastating blight on!

    A ring of fire panicked foes consumed,
    Across the country loud rumbles subsumed
    All his opponents who were laid to waste!
    Roots and rocks meanwhile had been exhumed…

    Silence once more took hold upon the land.
    Would the Maenads come back again to band?
    Against the Mage to unthrone him for sure?
    This was the pattern of Design so grand!

    Yonce ’twas midsummer in later midnight.
    ‘Twas the fine season ground motionless lied
    Under a twilight sky turning to dawn:
    Not a soul wistirred, everything was right…
